Free astrology widgets
Two small widgets you can put on your own pages: the sky today, and a rising sign calculator. Both are computed from an astronomical ephemeris by the same code that draws our birth charts. They're free and need no sign-up: copy the code below into your blog, website or course page.
The sky today
Where the Sun and Moon are right now, the Moon's phase and how much of it is lit, which planets are retrograde, the next (or current) Mercury retrograde, and the next new or full moon. Dates are in UTC on the English widget and Beijing time on the Chinese ones; it refreshes about every half hour.
Rising sign calculator
Visitors enter a birth date, time and place and get their rising sign on the spot, along with their Sun and Moon signs. "See the full chart" opens the complete chart and AI reading on our site in a new tab. Places can be any city worldwide.
Terms of use
The widgets are free on personal and commercial sites alike. We ask one thing in return: keep the line of text linking to us under the widget, as it comes in the code. Please don't remove it, hide it or mark it nofollow; that link is what lets us keep the widgets free. If you'd rather not keep it, please don't use the widget.
We may adjust the widgets' look and content over time; your code keeps working without changes. What they show is material for astrology as a cultural, reflective practice, not a forecast of events, so please don't present it as fortune-telling or a promise of luck.
WordPress, Notion and other platforms
WordPress: in the block editor, add a "Custom HTML" block and paste the whole code, the iframe and the link line together. Some hosted blog platforms strip iframes; if the widget doesn't show after pasting, that is the likely cause, and the platform's own "Embed" block may work instead.
Notion and other editors that don't take HTML: type /embed and paste the widget's address (the part in quotes after src in the code). Then, on a new line under the widget, type the link text from the code and link it to the same address.
You can change the width and height in the code. Keep the sky widget at least 312 pixels tall and the rising sign calculator at least 420; any shorter and the bottom gets cut off.
Privacy
The widgets set no cookies, need no sign-in and load no third-party scripts. Birth details typed into the rising sign calculator are used for that one calculation and not stored; all we count is how many times a day the widgets are shown and used. More in our Privacy Policy.
