Astrology Basics

A birth chart is made of three things: planets, signs and houses. The planets are the "what": will, feeling, thinking, love, action. The signs are the "how": the way each of those forces expresses itself. The houses are the "where": the area of life where it shows up most.

Add the angles between planets, called aspects, and you can see how these forces work together or pull against each other. The basics below are organized into those three parts, and you can read every page alongside your own chart.
